- American Red Cross World Trade Center Recovery Ceremony identification card issued to Stephen Roberts. The card includes a photograph, the logo for the American Red Cross, and printed text that reads: "American Red Cross | in Greater New York | Stephen | Roberts | World Trade Center Recovery Ceremony | Valid Only On | May 30, 2002." The card has an American flag at the bottom.
- Historical Notes
- In September 2001, Rabbi Stephen Roberts was a senior spiritual care officer for the American Red Cross. Rabbi Roberts performed a management role following the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, recruiting and overseeing a large team of chaplains to provide emotional and spiritual care at New York City’s Family Assistance Center, established in the wake of the attacks.
