- Born in Niskayuna, New York, Patrick Murphy lived in Millburn, New Jersey, with his wife, Elvira, and their two young children. Patrick played weekly Friday night basketball games with friends and fished from a boat he named Nothin’ but Net. On September 11, Patrick was on the North Tower’s 97th floor at Marsh & McLennan, where he was a vice president. He was 36 years old.
