- Sleeve of 18 baseball cards from a collection belonging to Victor Wald. The cards are stored double-sided in a plastic sheet protector with nine slots.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker Victor Wald lived with his wife, Rebecca, and their two daughters in Manhattan. An avid reader, he filled their apartment with books, especially on history and Judaism. Victor was a broker at Avalon Partners on the North Tower’s 83rd floor. On September 11, a stranger, Harry Ramos, helped him down the stairs. The two were last seen on the 36th floor. Victor was 49 years old.
