- Modest Petrovitch Mussorgsky (1839-1881) compact disc case belonging to Victor Wald. The case is for the Pictures at an Exhibition album, performed by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Edo de Waart and pianist Misha Dichter.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker Victor Wald lived with his wife, Rebecca, and their two daughters in Manhattan. An avid reader, he filled their apartment with books, especially on history and Judaism. Victor was a broker at Avalon Partners on the North Tower’s 83rd floor. On September 11, a stranger, Harry Ramos, helped him down the stairs. The two were last seen on the 36th floor. Victor was 49 years old.
