- Black ink drawing titled, World Trade Center (1975) by Richard Sloat. The drawing utilizes heavy lines and depicts the Twin Towers and other iconic buildings in the lower Manhattan skyline, including the Woolworth Building.
- Historical Notes
- Artist Richard Sloat lived in a loft apartment in the Lower East Side with his partner, Su-Li Hung. The two had met in the early 1970s at the Art Students League of New York. Often using the Twin Towers in their work, the couple initially earned a livable income by selling prints of their art on the streets of New York.
