- Historical Notes
- On September 11, 2001, Julie Cook was working as an operating room nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Greenwich Village. She shifted her location closer to the World Trade Center site shortly after the North Tower collapsed, volunteering to help staff the triage center that had been set up at nearby Stuyvesant High School. She wore these scrubs on duty that day as a medical first responder.
