- Mark Colaio grew up on Long Island and lived in Manhattan with his wife, June, and their two children. He and June took a cruise with his parents in August 2001, a break from his job as a Cantor Fitzgerald senior managing director. His brother, Stephen Colaio, and brother-in-law, Thomas Pedicini, also worked there. On September 11, all three men were on the North Tower’s 104th floor. Mark was 34 years old.
Born in Yonkers, New York, Stephen Colaio lived in Manhattan and was engaged to his girlfriend, Serena. Friends say his cheery outlook matched the “Life Is Good” T-shirt he wore. A Cantor Fitzgerald securities broker, Stephen worked with his brother, Mark Colaio, and Mark’s brother-in-law, Thomas Pedicini. All three men were at work on the North Tower’s 104th floor on September 11. Stephen was 32 years old.
