- Born in University Park, Maryland, Zoe Falkenberg lived with her parents, Charles Falkenberg and Leslie Whittington, and her sister, Dana Falkenberg. A student at University Park Elementary School, Zoe enjoyed reading classic children’s books and the Harry Potter series with her parents. On September 11, Zoe boarded Flight 77 with her family, headed to Australia for a few months. She was eight years old.
Dana Falkenberg was born in University Park, Maryland, where she lived with her parents, Charles Falkenberg and Leslie Whittington, and her sister, Zoe Falkenberg. Dana was fascinated by princesses and often spent her day in costume. At night, she cuddled with a stuffed toy, Lambie. On September 11, Dana and her family boarded Flight 77 to spend a few months in Australia. She was three years old.

This photograph was left on the S-69 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Dana and Zoe Falkenberg on January 31, 2022.
