Curator's Comment
Growing up with nine siblings, Michael Lynch lived in a home filled with friends and family. There, he met Stephanie: a friend of his younger sister who became a regular at the Lynch house. By summer 2001, Michael and Stephanie were a couple, attending a family vacation at the New Jersey shore and planning their wedding for that November. On the evening of September 10, Michael and Stephanie discussed wedding plans. “Do you still want to marry me?” Stephanie teased. “Of course I do,” Michael said.
