Respirator
Description
Half-mask respirator with blue silicone face-piece cushion and black adjustable elastic straps. The plastic filter cartridges are gray.
Historical Notes
NYPD Officer Robert Schnelle and his canine partner Atlas, a German shepherd, deployed to lower Manhattan on the morning of September 11, 2001. Together, the two searched 7 World Trade Center before its collapse and continued to work at Ground Zero until the recovery concluded in May 2002.
