Mark Bingham lost his life aboard UNITED Flight 93 when it crashed in Pennsylvania on Tuesday 9/11/01.
Mark called his mother from the plane and stood up against the terrorists.

- Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Mark Bingham lived in San Francisco, California, and traveled often to New York City. He owned The Bingham Group, a public relations firm with offices in both cities. A rugby player, Mark helped establish teams open to people of color, women, and gay men. On September 11, Mark boarded Flight 93 en route to San Francisco to attend a fraternity brother’s wedding. He was 31 years old.
