World Screen
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003 titled “World Screen.” This design plan features a “terrestrial globe” situated atop of a one-story building in the center of the site. The sphere would be a space dedicated to victims; family and loved ones, its exterior covered in hundreds of screens displaying changing images. On the exterior of the one-story floor, where the sphere sits, the names of the victims would be engraved, with water flowing down to mimic tears.
