- Description
- Stairwell door with window panel shattered and covered in a piece of wood. The piece of wood has a visible shoe print on it. Marked on the outside of the door is a large X with the date 9-16-01 and the name Sanchez. Also marked on the door in orange spray paint is the date 9/20, another large X, and the abbreviation FD.
- Historical Notes
- This fire stairwell door was recovered inside a residential building at 114 Liberty Street. The door is marked "9/20" in orange spray paint to indicate that rescue personnel had searched the premises for survivors and casualties on September 20, 2001.
