Baseball Cap

- Baseball cap from the Run for Peace event held in memory of Peter Keith Ortale. The cap is navy blue with an American flag embroidered on the front. The stripes are lacrosse sticks and the stars in the blue field spell out "PKO."
- Historical Notes
- Peter Ortale grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lived with his wife, Mary, in SoHo in Manhattan and spent weekends at their home in Sag Harbor, Long Island. In his twenties, he canned salmon in Alaska, surfed in Hawaii, and played in the national lacrosse league in Australia. A bond broker for Euro Brokers, Peter was on the South Tower’s 84th floor on September 11. He was 37 years old.
