- Medal created for a memorial event held in memory of Damian Meehan. The medal features a graphic portrait of Meehan and printed text: "Damian Meehan Memorial Run." The medal is attached to a red, white, and blue ribbon.
- Historical Notes
- Raised in Manhattan’s Inwood area, Damian Meehan lived in Glen Rock, New Jersey, with his wife, Joann—who was pregnant—and their young son. One of nine children, Damian often recruited his siblings to compete with him in races or to play a round of golf. Damian worked as a trader at Carr Futures. On September 11, he was in his office on the North Tower’s 92nd floor. He was 32 years old.
