- Yankees necklace belonging to Michael Francis Lynch. The necklace has red, white, and blue beads with a Yankees' top hat and bat logo pendant.
- Historical Notes
- One of 10 siblings, Michael Lynch was born in the Bronx and continued to live there as an adult. He and his fiancée, Stephanie, were to marry in November 2001. A firefighter with FDNY Ladder Company 32, Michael was working with Engine Company 40 on September 11. Firefighter Lynch was seen in a stairwell in 4 World Trade Center, heading toward the South Tower. He was 30 years old.
