- Memorial patch created in memory of Francis Esposito. The patch has a bald eagle in the center with an American flag and embroidered text at the top: "NORTH SHORE TRUCKIN'." At the bottom is an embroidered yellow banner with the FDNY logo in the center and "TL | 79" embroidered in red.
- Historical Notes
- Staten Island native Francis Esposito lived in Tottenville with his wife, Dawn. In 1999, he achieved three of his longtime dreams. In the same month, he got married, bought a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and became an FDNY firefighter. On September 11, Firefighter Esposito responded to the World Trade Center with his unit, Engine Company 235. He was 32 years old.
