- Embroidered New York Police Department uniform patch belonging to Anthony Segarra. The patch features the New York City municipal seal in the center. Text embroidered in white against a blue background reads: "Auxiliary | Police Department | City of New York." The patch has a yellow embroidered border.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker Anthony Segarra lived in South Flushing, Queens, with his wife, Hedy, and their three children. He enjoyed bowling in a league and also played handball and paddleball. Anthony was an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3, employed by Proven Electric Contracting. On September 11, he was at a job in the North Tower’s 91st floor. He was 51 years old.
