Signed memoir titled My Neighbor's Wife, 9-11-2001 to 9-12-2002 by Jane McClary Oakley, neighbor and friend of William F. Fallon. The book explores the first year after Fallon's death and how his family coped. The book includes photographs, and its last section consists of excerpts of letters written to Fallon's wife, Brenda, after he passed. The inside page of the book is signed by Brenda:
"Presented to The National September 11 Memorial & Museum 11/24/2010 by Brenda C. Fallon. 'We will honor his life even as we grieve his death.'" - Historical Notes
- Yonkers, New York native William Fallon lived in Rocky Hill, New Jersey, with his wife, Brenda. The couple had raised a son. William took up running in his forties and was training for a half marathon in Philadelphia on September 16. On September 11, William, a Port Authority general manager, went to work on the North Tower’s 62nd floor. He was 53 years old.
