- Description
- Office of Emergency Management Clergy Crisis Responder identification card issued to Stephen Roberts. The card includes a photograph and printed text that reads: "City of New York | OEM | Clergy Crisis | Responder | Rabbi S. Roberts | Expires | 6/30/02." When the ID is tilted, a holographic image of the New York City municipal seal can be seen on top of the ID.
- Historical Notes
- In September 2001, Rabbi Stephen Roberts was a senior spiritual care officer for the American Red Cross. Rabbi Roberts performed a management role following the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, recruiting and overseeing a large team of chaplains to provide emotional and spiritual care at New York City’s Family Assistance Center, established in the wake of the attacks.
