- Handwritten field notes written by Lawrence Provost documenting his rescue and recovery experience at Ground Zero. The notes are written in pen on the back of a Cosi catering and delivery invoice and very briefly documents his six days spent at Ground Zero.
- Historical Notes
- A member of the U.S. Army Reserve, Lawrence Provost responded to Ground Zero on 9/11. It took him four hours to access to the site, and he stayed until September 17, 2001, returning periodically after that to aid the cleanup effort.
