Lapel Pin
- Description
- Commemorative lapel pin created in memory of the 9/11 Pentagon victims, including CeCelia E. Richard. The pin has a looped remembrance ribbon in the colors of the American flag and is inserted into a representation of the Pentagon building.
- Historical Notes
- Washington, D.C. native CeCelia Richard lived in Fort Washington, Maryland, with her husband, Michael. A Washington Redskins football fan, she worked as an usher at the team’s stadium on home game days. CeCelia was also employed as an accounting technician for the U.S. Army. On September 11, she was at her office in the Pentagon. She was 41 years old.
