- Handwritten note left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Kenneth M. McBrayer. The note reads: "Kenneth, you are missed, you are loved, FD-PD-Airline or beyond civillian [sic] loved. remembered. thank you. You are respected and honored today. Love [name illegible]."
- Historical Notes
- A native of Georgia, Kenneth McBrayer lived in New York City. In 2001, while his wife, Marsha, attended law school in Washington, D.C., he often spent weekends there, sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. Kenneth, a former U.S. Navy engineer, was an investment banker and partner at Sandler O'Neill & Partners. On September 11, he was at work on the 104th floor of the South Tower. He was 49 years old.

This note was left on the S-52 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Kenneth M. McBrayer on September 11, 2015.
