- Memorial card created in memory of Ronald Bucca and left at the 9/11 Memorial. The card features a black and white photograph of Bucca wearing his bunker gear with printed text: "Fire Marshal | Ronald Bucca | May 6, 1954 - September 11, 2001." On the back is a color photograph of Ronald Bucca wearing an army uniform. Text of the Army Values is printed over the photograph.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker Ronald Bucca lived in Tuckahoe, New York, with his wife, Eve, and their two children. After serving in the U.S. Army Reserve in the Gulf War, Ronald spent 23 years with the FDNY. When he survived a five-story fall from a building, he earned the nickname the Flying Fireman. On September 11, Fire Marshal Bucca reached the South Tower’s 78th floor. He was 47 years old.

This memorial card was left on the S-14 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Ronald Bucca on September 11, 2013.
